General Information

Appearance: Ratty clothes, ratty hair, questionable hygiene

Outlook: Bitter, vindictive — secretly desires magical ability and is a very sad man.

Strengths and Abilities: Knows the corridors and shadows of Hogwarts castle like the back of his hand, and has a knack for catching rule breaking students.

Weaknesses and Character Flaws: As per the Kwik-Spell incident, it's obvious that he does have a desire for magic, which may be part of the reason he works as the Hogwarts Caretaker, it's the closest he can get to being a student there and he may be able to learn from being there. His frustration at this inability, combined with years of watching students who, as per his view, take this gift he yearns for, for granted and in many cases abuse the privilege — also causing him more work — have turned him into a very bitter, resentful man.

Personality Quirks: The War and its circumstances have driven him slightly mad — or madder, depending on your viewpoint — and he often loses track of present day. Even after feeling sorry for him this is solely for the pleasure of having him accost, mostly the younger, professors as if they were still students.

Personal Information

Short History: The War, being surrounded by people killing each other with magic, would have been a terrifying experience — not that he would let anyone know. Death Eaters would happily kill him, without the ability to fight back in the same manner, he would have felt essentially defenseless.

Family:

Friends: Ah yes. The odd and slightly disturbing relationship with his cat, Mrs. Norris. A friend substitute and more. This is a creature who in this magical world is the only thing that is somewhat dependent on him. Though I'm sure she could defend herself, I'm assuming she was a kitten and therefore somewhat completely at the mercy of others in the Wizarding World.

Sexual Orientation and History: Nothing in this area for now, may be amended as play continues. I really don't think he would think himself worthy of a witch, rather like half a man — nor would he consider swerving from his goal to settle into Muggle life. Although there have been rumors, completely unconfirmed, about a certain librarian.
